Tecnigen has hosted several webinars since 2020, the year marked by Covid-19, in order to provide more moments of reflection and bonding.
“Economics and Health: The Portuguese in Times of Quarantine and the Impact on the Pharmacy Sector”.
The first webinar to be held was in April 2020 in partnership with the Portuguese Catholic University and IQVIA. The results of the study “The Portuguese – Life in times of quarantine” were presented and discussed during this webinar. The study included a survey of the Portuguese population, with a sample of 1800 people representative of the Portuguese population. Analysis of data on the pharmaceutical industry during the pandemic was also conducted.
In May 2020, the second part of the study “Covid-19 and the Portuguese – Life in times of quarantine” was presented. This study again examined the economic climate in Portugal and the behaviour of the Portuguese, as well as providing an analysis of the consumption of medicines in Portugal and the impact on the pharmacy sector compared to other countries.
“Hospital and community pharmacies and outpatients”
Hospital and community pharmacies and outpatients was the theme of the third webinar organised by Tecnigen, which included a presentation of the first project carried out in Portugal covering both a hospital and 30 community pharmacies involved in the distribution of medicines to outpatients. The Science of Happiness
In partnership with CATÓLICA-LISBON, Tecnigen promoted a special kind of webinar on the theme of the Science of Happiness in times of a global pandemic. The purpose of this webinar was to reflect and discuss how we can be happy when circumstances are not the most favourable.
