General Information
Procedure
1st step: When should you file a report?
Whenever you witness, practice or are the target of conduct which violates any matter covered by the code of deontology at Tecnimede Group.
2nd step: To whom should you present the report?
To your closest supervisor. If you are a consultant or service provider you may file your report or present your concern to the interlocutor. If it so happens that the complaint is non-viable or does not solve the problem satisfactorily the issue may be presented to a higher management department of the company.
3rd step: How should the report be done?
The information contained in a report should always be as detailed as possible and free from any judgment. Tecnimede Group has an appropriate and totally confidential channel where a person may raise concerns, seek advice or communicate, in good faith, any violations or suspicions of violations through the following email address:
complianceofficer@tecnimede.com.
4th step: What happens after the report?
All complaints will be recorded in writing by the people assigned to investigate the complaint filed, and will report them directly to the Legal Department. These reports will be kept confidential at all times. In no event will the company ever threaten to take any action against a whistleblower as a reprisal or retaliation for honestly filing a report, disclosing or reporting information related to the Code of Conduct.
5th step: Follow-up
If the person who files a report or concern regarding matters pertaining to the Code of Conduct wishes to follow-up on how the issue is being handled, and has provided contact information (and has explicitly waived his/her anonymity), the person receiving the report shall, as deemed appropriate, update the whistleblower on the state of his/her report and the respective decision.
Developing the courage to communicate the suspicion of infractions not only benefits you and your colleagues, but also contributes to the creation of a fairer and more respectful workplace. At Tecnimede Group, we encourage an environment in which all employees feel free to express concerns about potential infractions. In addition, we urge our suppliers, along the entire supply chain, to protect their workers against any form of retaliation which may arise due to their complaint.
